Episode 3
Bonjour madam à monsieur..
Well..i practically and literally walked till i drop in Paris..my right knee is making some protest towards my eagerness to cover as much of Paris as possible in two days that it is goin into a rage of fit and rioting..i am struggling to do stairs and walking on roads with elevation is a challenge for me now..normally only befitting a 70 old man..but i guess the rest of my body which is still 25 just told my knee to shut up and get on with it..hehe...so i pretty much reached my objective in Paris..
so much have i seen in Paris in these two days and i've come to a few conclusion
- the Louvre is realllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllly huge..even bigger than the famous Egyptian museum which is also very huge..happy that i had the chance to do both..but only briefly...the leg..i blame it on the leg
- the real monalisa is well...like all the fake monalisa's u see on all the other places in the world..even on the 0.20 Euro postcards..hehe...i dono..im not an artsy kind of person so i dont really appreciate what i saw...was just amazed by the fact that most of the other ppl who were there was so amazed with it and u can hear the ooohhh's and aaahhh's coming from their mouth while their eyes are staring on it for minutes if not hours end...bet they cant tell what is the diffrence between the old Porsche 911 and the new one..haha
- Like the same concept in Germany, in France, all toms, dicks and harry's drive either a Peugeot, Citroen or Renault..din see a rich guy with a Wira here though..
- Parisians love their baguettes and croissants, u see them selling and eating them everywhere..i do as well..cos they are the cheapest forms of food that i can find here..hahaha
- A day train pass rocks...it brought me to the whole of Paris without having to worry bout spending too much for transport..i pracically hopped on and off the train as if im the rotiguy stopping at every house to sell bread..
- Paris is really a stylo milo city..even in winter when all ppl are pretty much covered up...the Parisians really do them in style..not like our apeks who insists on Pagoda if its a t-shirt and Crocodile if its underwear..
so all in all..all i can say is that Paris is a very beautiful city..the people are beautiful..ahem..the buildings are beautiful and the lifestyle is beautiful...there's just so much class involed in everything..
i will say au revoir to Paris tomoro morning and board the Eurostar to London and then to Manchester to meet up with Lin Kheng before heading to Scotland together the next day...finally back to people i can understand after more than 7 months...my lingo is so mixed up right now with the arabic, german and french all in there to be manaragerfregish...confusing yet enlightening hehehe
i will definately miss Paris..so much to do..so little time...so catch u guys at the next stop...check in on time and bring some coffee!
